• Prefers the warmer waters of the Western Atlantic
• Is the biggie in the tuna family
• Much harder to find due to over fishing from commercial operators
• Trolling at boat speeds of 8-10 knots is recommended
• Live or dead bait effective using slimy mackerel, sardines, pilchards, yellowtail and squid
• When trolling, the following lures have been successful – hex head lures, knuckleheads, skirted tuna lures, large minnows and resin head skirted lures
